EU-India Business Summit

During the Swedish Presidency of the European Union the EU-India Summit will take place in New Delhi on 6 November. The Prime Minister of Sweden Mr Fredrik Reinfeldt, The President of the European Commission Mr José Manuel Barroso and the Prime Minister of India Mr Manmohan Singh will meet in New Delhi.

In connection with the Political Summit there will take place a Business Summit on the same day, 6 November.

The Business Summit will be organised by BUSINESSEUROPE, the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and the Confederation of Indian Industry,CII.

The event brings together business leaders from the European Union and India for discussions of the primary issues on the bilateral economic through planned CEO discussions and broader panel discussions. There will be a portion of interaction between the Political Leaders in the Summit and the Business Summit during the day. A formal joint declaration on the key themes will be presented to the Summitt leaders.
