Businesseurope

The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise acts within the EU as an independent organization and also in coordination with Businesseurope.

Businesseurope is the “Voice of Business in Europe”. It represents 40 member federations from 34 European countries. A body with many millions companies having over 100 million employees.

Businesseurope’s mandate is to play an active role in safeguarding its members’ interests by informing and influencing EU decision makers. The organization focuses its actions in four areas:

• Encouraging entrepreneurship
• Creating space for business
• Improving labor market flexibility
• Promoting a balanced sustainable development policy

As a member of Businesseurope, the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise actively takes part in i.a. the following working groups and committees:

• Economic and Financial Affairs
• External Relations
• Industrial Affairs
• Social Affairs
• Company Affairs
