Companies pick up where schools fall behind
Skills supply | Unable to recruit site engineers and foremen for their building projects, Swedish construction giant, Skanska, and other companies, have started private upper secondary schools. Offering an internal job guarantee, companies hope to meet their recruitment needs.

Intellectual property| Sweden must have faster and simpler dispute resolution processes in patent and intellectual property cases. "Disputes cannot take years for companies to assert such rights, otherwise their protections become meaningless", says Eva Jarnvall, Intellectual Property Specialist at the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, proposing a special court for commercial issues.
