For business to flourish in Sweden, businesses need to be competitive – both nationally and internationally. And for this to happen, entrepreneurs need certain conditions in which to run their businesses.
The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise seeks to promote the common interests of businesses of all sizes and in all industry sectors. This role is, among other things, important in contract negotiations where each sector reaches its own agreements, and co-operation between different industries is important for outcomes to be favourable for business as a whole. A key goal is that wage costs should be at a reasonable level so as to improve business competitiveness.
The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise represents business in talks with trade unions on agreements that apply to all industries. This may, for example, apply to negotiations on employment rules, LAS or on collectively agreed occupational pensions and insurance.
Our co-operation within the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and our member organisations makes us strong and gives our work a broad base, which benefits member companies. Together, we focus on common issues, and work at different levels to achieve the best possible outcomes. Each member organisation works with issues related to their respective sector, while the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise’s role is to focus on issues that are important to all businesses in all sectors.
