The European Union is at a historic turning point. Ukraine and Moldova are expediting accession negotiations, and some Western Balkan countries have set ambitious timelines for EU accession. But what does this mean for Europe’s future and for European businesses?

Opening address by Marta Kos Commissioner for Enlargement followed by Mathieu Bousquet Director for Enlargement Coordination, Strategy & Investments at the European Commission.

Business leaders Tina Karlberg, CEO Sweco International, Anton Svensson, CEO EWES, Artem Petrenko, President of Strategy, Sigma Software Group and Thomas Møller, President Energy Division at Alfa, Laval will share their insights and priorities regarding EU enlargement and doing business with candidate countries.

Eva Rytter Sunesen Implement Consulting Group, Steven Blockmans Centre for European Policy Studies and Asees Ahuja Swedish Enterprise will present key findings from three reports published by Swedish Enterprise.

Before we wrap up H.E. Petar Marković Ambassador of Montenegro to the EU, H.E. Danijel Apostolović Ambassador of Serbia to the EU and Anna Stellinger Deputy Director General at Swedish Enterprise will provide their reflections in conversation with our moderator Angela Barnes of Euronews.
