Comments on the Consumer Agenda 2025-2030

The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise welcomes the European Commission’s consultation on the 2025- 2030 Consumer Agenda. The Confederation remains committed to upholding the high consumer protection standard in the European Union and to ensuring that European companies and consumers can equally benefit from a well-functioning Single Market.

The overall focus in the 2025-2030 Consumer Agenda should be on enforcing existing rules, simplifying consumer law, strengthening competitiveness and better enforcement, instead of new regulations.
